Pasta & Shrimp With Creole Seasoning

This is a quick, simple, and delicious dinner you can make in just a couple of minutes.

12 oz
fettuccine pasta
1 tbl olive oil
1 ½ lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbl
Creole seasoning. Tony's is popular, we use The Stuff
2 tbl butter
4 to 5 cloves
garlic, minced or squeezed through a garlic press
1 cup
heavy cream
½ cup
Parmesan cheese, grated (Not that sawdust in a can stuff. Grate some yourself.)

Chopped parsley

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook it according to the package directions.

While the pasta is cooking, turn the heat to medium high in a large skillet and add the olive oil. Add the shrimp and Creole seasoning and cook for 2 or 3 minutes or until the shrimp are pink. Put the shrimp on a plate and set them aside.

Keep the heat at medium high and add the butter to the skillet. When it melts, add the garlic. Stir this for 30 seconds, Don't brown the garlic. Add the cream and bring to a simmer. When the cream starts to simmer, slowly stir in the Parmesan cheese. Bring this to a simmer and let it cook for a few minutes.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and stir well. Keep stirring until the shrimp are heated.

By this time the pasta should be cooked. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet. Stir well.

Serve garnished with the parsley.
